So everytime I drive through downtown, I have to slow down and look in the David’s Bridal windows. Up until last week all they had were really gaudy prom dresses that made my heart sink. But finally they have the white back where it belongs: front and forward.

They’re having a 50% sale on all bridal gowns through the end of May. So I called up and made myself an appointment for tomorrow!

I loved the books; I’ll see the movie when the crowds die down. I’ll probably even own all three when they put them out.

But I am sick of these Hunger Games themed weddings. Usually when I think of weddings, I don’t think of distopian societies or battling to the death or watching children kill each other or coal mining accidents or anything that happens in those books.

Come on, people. Katniss and Peeta (or Katniss and Gale, if you prefer, but I don’t) had their romantic moments, but it’s not the focus of the book and nor should it be the focus of your one day.
